Job Description

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include: 1. Build pixel-perfect and buttery-smooth UIs across both mobile platforms 2. Work on leveraging native APIs for deep integrations with both platforms 3. Diagnose and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks for performance that feels native 4. Work on reaching out to the open-source community to encourage and help implement mission-critical software fixes (React Native moves fast and often breaks things) 5. Maintain and document the code to ensure that the product is of the highest quality Who can apply: 1. Firm grasp of the JavaScript language and its nuances, including ES6+ syntax 2. Knowledge of functional or object-oriented programming 3. Ability to write well-documented, clean Javascript code 4. Familiarity with native build tools, like XCode, Gradle, Android Studio, IntelliJ, etc. 5. Understanding of REST APIs, the document request model, and offline storage 6. Building a product is a highly collaborative effort, and as such, a strong team player with a commitment to perfection is required
