Job Description

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include: 1. Design, develop, and maintain the backend components of your application or system. This includes implementing APIs, services, and server-side logic 2. Integrate and manage data from various sources, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and availability for analysis and use in the application 3. Design and optimize databases, both SQL and NoSQL, for efficient data storage, retrieval, and management 4. Create and maintain data pipelines for ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, ensuring data flows smoothly between systems 5. Implement search functionality using search engines like Elasticsearch or other search technologies to enable fast and relevant search queries 6. Optimize backend systems for improved performance and scalability, especially for data-intensive operations 7. Ensure data security and implement access controls to protect sensitive information 8. Work closely with front-end developers, data scientists, and other team members to deliver end-to-end solutions Skills and Qualifications: 1. Proficiency in backend programming languages and frameworks (e.g., Node.js, Python, Ruby on Rails) 2. Experience with data integration techniques and tools 3. Strong database management skills, including SQL and NoSQL databases 4. Knowledge of data pipeline design and implementation 5. Expertise in implementing search functionality using technologies like Elasticsearch 6. Understanding of performance optimization and scaling for backend systems 7.
